Matches for upcoming episodes of ROH were taped before and after the July 11 live broadcast of AEW Collision.
During these tapings, an AEW star made his return, having not wrestled for the brand since dropping his championship ahead of a run in NJPW.

The July 11 taping saw Nick Wayne wrestle for ROH for the first time since returning to the US.
The former ROH World Television Champion defeated Alan Angels in singles action.
Other stars in action at the taping included Maya World, Orange Cassidy and Adam Priest.
Here are the results from matches taped before and after Collision (via PWInsider):
Griff Garrison def. Aaron Solo
Adam Priest def. Kiran Grey
Nick Wayne def. Alan Angels
Maya World def. Janai Kai
Isla Dawn def. Erica Leigh
Hook, Anthony Bowens & Action Andretti def. Landon Hale, Steve Allen & Robert Allen

Wayne’s most recent televised ROH in-ring appearance came on the May 14 episode (taped May 9), with Wayne dropping the ROH World Television Championship to AR Fox.
This was ahead of Nick Wayne competing in the NJPW Best of the Super Juniors tournament, as AEW’s lone representative.
Wayne wrestled 14 matches in total for NJPW during the 2026 Best of the Super Juniors tour, with nine of them being in tournament A-block action.
The AEW star scored 10 points in the A-block, with victories over Ryusuke Taguchi, Robbie X, Daiki Nagai, Titan and Valiente Jr.
His losses were against semifinalist Master Wato, tournament runner-up Kosei Fujita, Francesco Akira and Jun Kasai.
His match against Kasai was a notable one, with the deathmatch legend pitching for Wayne to face his son Hinata Kasai, following their bout.
Wayne’s last match in Japan saw him, Valiente Jr, Daisuke Sasaki, Master Wato and Ryusuke Taguchi defeat Daiki Nagai, Gedo, Robbie X, Taiji Ishimori and Titan during the June 7 Best of the Super Juniors final event.
Following this, Nick Wayne stated that he wished he could stay in NJPW for longer, and is hoping that one day he will be back in a New Japan ring.
With Wayne clearly earning the respect of fans and wrestlers alike with his 2025 and 2026 Best of the Super Juniors runs, it would make sense for Wayne to continue making crossover appearances for NJPW, and to become a figurehead of the AEW-NJPW partnership.
