An absent AEW star was backstage at this week’s episode of Dynamite, having last been in the ring in August last year.
Will Ospreay last competed at AEW Forbidden Door, revealing he would undergo surgery to fix “a few” herniated discs that were pushing against his spinal cord.
With the surgery being a success, it has since been revealed that Ospreay is “doing great” in his recovery.
While Ospreay is yet to make an in-ring return, he was backstage at the recent episode of AEW Dynamite.
Footage was shared on his own Instagram Stories, with the video also being shared by a third party on Twitter.
The footage shared by Ospreay shows the AEW star focusing on a fan in the crowd of who holding a sign with “Boo” on one side and “Yay” on the other, with the fans chanting along to whichever side was on display.
At the time of writing, a date for Ospreay’s in-ring return is still to be established, although he has previously addressed plans to return to New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
