Having first been heard over the past weekend, a new AEW show theme has officially seen its online release.
Debuting in June 2023, AEW Collision was a regular fixture on the TNT schedule before moving to HBO Max last year.
The show has featured the theme tune ‘Saturday Night’s All Right For Fighting’ by Elton John since its earliest days, with the song being replaced in July 2024 with ‘Red Light Is On (Let’s Go)’ by Mikey Rukus and Omega Sparx.
Tony Khan took to Twitter to promise a return to the Elton John track in January of last year, with the theme changing once again as fans enter 2026.
This week’s episode of AEW Collision saw a new theme, with Mikey Rukus once again delivering the goods.
‘IONIZED’, the new opening theme for AEW Collision, has now been shared on social media, with something of a dance beat to the sound.
Rukus would seemingly suggest that the new theme is a nod to the WCW Saturday Night theme in a separate post on Twitter with the comment “IYKYK“.
