AEW Announces Major Matches For Next Week’s Dynamite

Tonight’s AEW: Dynamite was a news filled episode. Not only did they announce several matches for Double or Nothing and reveal Jon Moxley’s next challenger, but they also announced the lineup for next week’s show.

The first match announced for next week includes MJF. While they didn’t announce who he will be facing, this will be MJF’s first match since he “suffered” his injuries while betting on matches ringside.

Speaking of people at ringside, Pineapple Pete (Sugar Dunkerton) will be in action next week as well. He’ll actually be facing Chris Jericho. Pete took a swing at Jericho tonight and of course, who can forget Jericho relentlessly dogging on Pete while he was on commentary.

.@IAmJericho is furious that Pineapple Pete is in the arena!

If that’s not enough, we’re also getting a woman’s 4 way. Penelope Ford, Hikaru Shida, Kris Statlander, and Britt Baker we’ll be facing off. While they didn’t officially announce this, they heavily implied this could determine the challenger for Nyla Rose at Double or Nothing.

We’re also getting a tag match next week. The Best Friends will be facing Jurassic Express. Marko Stunt and Orange Cassidy are to be at ringside. That should be fun.

What probably won’t be too fun for Christopher Daniels will be facing Brodie Lee. Lee and The Dark Order attacked SCU and Moxley after the Moxley/Kaz match tonight.

The final segment of the show for next week will be Jake Roberts and Lance Archer doing an interview. They are supposed to address their actions on tonight’s show. If you didn’t see it, Roberts brought back his python and put it on Brandi Rhodes. He then suggestively mounted her in the ring.

Next week’s show is said to be pre-taped. It will be a pivotal show on the road to Double or Nothing. New was coming fast and furious this week.  Let us know what you thought of the show on Twitter.
