An advertised WWE match for tonight’s SmackDown (January 12) doesn’t appear to be happening after an attack before the bell.

While Grayson Waller was set to take on Cameron Grimes in the opening bout of the show, the match wouldn’t actually happen.

Grayson Waller and his bestie Austin Theory had already made an entrance and were in the ring but Cameron Grimes wouldn’t make it far down the ramp.

Before his entrance theme could be played on television, he was attacked by Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa as Paul Heyman got into the ring.

While the Bloodline knocked out not only Grimes but several security guards, Waller and Theory elected to exit and leave the ring to the faction.

Heyman then informed the crowd that it really wasn’t the Bloodline’s fault for the carnage, it was Nick Aldis’.

Summoning the SmackDown GM to the ring from the ramp, Heyman’s hopes of getting Roman Reigns’ Fatal Four Way match at Royal Rumble cancelled were promptly dashed.

Aldis informed that there would be a match in the main event tonight of SmackDown featuring Randy Orton, AJ Styles and LA Knight teaming against Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns.

When Paul Heyman laughed at the notion that Roman Reigns would be in Nebraska, Aldis fired back that it was up to the Bloodline whether or not they wanted to add a third.

Otherwise, it would be a 3 on 2 handicap match in the main event!

After the commercial break, the match was listed as the pair teaming with a series of question marks.

When Jimmy Uso questioned who would team with them, Heyman said that the entire locker room had been kissing his tuchus for years to try and get into the Bloodline so he would find them a partner.

Solo on the other hand said, “I never worry.”
