With a recent group of WWE stars parting ways with the company, there have been some transitions already this month.

From standouts on LFG to fan favorites from NXT and Evolve, there have been some intriguing names on the list of those departing the company this month.

Here are all of the talent cut by WWE in September 2026 thus far.

Jasper Troy

Former WWE NXT star Jasper Troy

One of the more interesting names on the list of those departing WWE after a recent spell of roster cuts, Jasper Troy.

After winning WWE LFG in season one, Troy would go on to win the WWE Speed Championship.

Most recently appearing at an NXT House Show and featured on WWE Main Event last month, Troy seemed to be ready for action.

Wendy Choo

Another surprising name from the list of those let go by the company was Wendy Choo.

Featuring across both NXT and WWE Evolve, Choo was a standout amongst fans and seemingly still had life left in her complex character.

Perhaps finding second life in TNA Wrestling, it could be that professional wrestling fans have yet to see the last of Wendy Choo.

Adriana Rizzo

Arguably the most recognizable name on the list of those departing WWE, Adriana Rizzo came as a shock to some fans.

Having featured prominently as a member of the D’Angelo Family, Rizzo would find herself injured around the same time the stable broke up.

With D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo going their own radically new directions in the interim, it would seem that upon her return there was no longer room for Rizzo.

PJ Vasa

A standout from WWE LFG, it would have seemed that there was a bright future ahead for PJ Vasa.

Nicknamed “P Nasty,” the star not only had the in-ring abilities but also the skills on the mic to back up her big attitude.

Like Troy, she also had a recent outing on Main Event.

Zena Sterling

WWE NXT's Zena Sterling

Zena Sterling was one of the developmental talents who received plenty of exposure through WWE LFG, where she appeared across both season one and two of the show.

The Ukrainian wrestler subsequently would go on to compete in EVOLVE and had been active on the developmental live event circuit as recently as August.

Braxton Cole

Signed to WWE in 2024, Braxton Cole was still competing at NXT house show events as recently as last month.

Featuring on WWE LFG and Evolve, Cole finds himself looking towards the future as he departs WWE.

Marcus Brown

A relatively quick turnaround for Marcus Brown as his departure was noted during a recent spell of roster cuts.

Only signed to WWE since March 2026, the recruit did not seem to compete in any public matches during his time in the company.

Ellen Akesson

Signed by WWE earlier in 2026 with a unique background in powerlifting, the Swedish standout was signed to a developmental deal.

Reportedly not ending up making an in-ring debut ahead of her release, it would seem that Akesson is headed on to future endeavors.

With nearly 1 million followers on TikTok, there is likely more content ahead from the former WWE recruit.

Anya Rune

Former WWE ID talent Anya Rune

Anya Rune was one of the newest names on WWE’s developmental roster, joining the WWE ID program in March 2026.

While she did compete on EVOLVE, she had only been working with WWE for a few months before being released.

Gary Wilson

Adding to the list of in-ring talent departing WWE was referee, Gary Wilson.

Demonstrating that the cuts extended beyond the in-ring talent, there has been no indication that further cuts are left to come.
