Whether they be former champions or rising stars, these talents will be looking to make an impact by advancing to the all-important ladder matches that can change someone’s career.

Here are six SmackDown stars who could potentially qualify for the Men’s and Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder matches.

Trick Williams

Since arriving on the WWE main roster, Trick Williams has made it clear that he intends to become a world champion.

Over the past few months, Williams is already a two-time United States Champion and one of the most popular stars on the SmackDown roster.

After all his accomplishments, the logical next step should be Trick in Money In The Bank.

If Williams qualifies, he has to be considered a favorite to win the coveted briefcase on October 10.

Blake Monroe

Following WrestleMania 42, vignettes started to air to tease the arrival of Blake Monroe to the WWE main roster.

Joining Friday Night SmackDown, Monroe looked to be a key addition to the women’s division.

The former Mariah May has yet to have her in-ring debut after making her debut in June.

It feels like Blake Monroe is waiting for an important match to make her debut and could do that by qualifying for the Women’s Money In The Bank.

Tatum Paxley

After a successful run on WWE NXT, Tatum Paxley recently made the jump to the WWE main roster.

Aligning with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, Paxley has been establishing herself on SmackDown.

With her daredevil style, Paxley would feel right at home in the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

Wanting to put the new star right in the spotlight, Tatum Paxley feels like a no-brainer to highlight at WWE Money In The Bank 2026.

In her first year on SmackDown, Legend has been dominant in singles and tag team action.

Alongside Nia Jax, Legend is already a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.

Looking for the next step in her career, Legend could qualify for the Women’s Money In The Bank and have a chance to win the briefcase.

Finn Balor

At the start of 2026, Finn Balor put his sights back on becoming a world champion again.

This led to two matches against CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship.

After coming up short against Punk twice, Balor went on to move to Friday Night SmackDown and has once again set his sights on world title gold.

Balor could now qualify for the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match where he has an opportunity to win the briefcase and get back to the top of WWE.

GUNTHER

WWE's GUNTHER.

GUNTHER has been on the WWE main roster for over four years now.

Throughout his run on Raw and SmackDown, GUNTHER is a two-time World Heavyweight Champion and the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time.

“The Ring General” has been focused on capturing the Undisputed WWE Championship for months.

GUNTHER qualifying for his first Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match would be interesting and put him in a strange situation in a match type that many fans would not expect to see him in.
