In 2013, New Japan Pro Wrestling fans were introduced to Prince Devitt’s newest faction, Bullet Club. They were a group of wrestlers who formed the company’s first all-gaijin unit. Although it was successful, nobody would’ve expected it to become a world-renowned brand back then. Yet, as popular as the faction is, the group hasn’t been without issues, including leadership and loyalty problems.
Recently, during a period of calm, leader Jay White sent the faction into turmoil. White turned on Tama Tonga and his brother Tanga Loa during an Impact show before welcoming back the Good Brothers.
With all this chaos, here’s a look at five potential routes for the faction after Jay’s shocking actions.
5. A Babyface Turn For Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa

Despite being long-time members of the Bullet Club, a babyface turn could be precisely what Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa need. Although Tanga Loa has always been Bullet Club through and through, even OG member Tama Tonga started in New Japan as a babyface. Yet, as crazy as it might sound, the idea of a face turn isn’t something fans would be shocked at.
During the past few months, in their feud with CHAOS and Suzuki Gun for the tag titles, fans have come to respect the duo for their wrestling. Their unwillingness to allow Jado to interfere in their matches has come as a relief, especially after the shenanigans of the House of Torture. As both athletes are super talented and charismatic, it isn’t hard for crowds to root for them.
Whether they choose to stay together or go their separate ways, a babyface turn will be the chance for a new start. Although it is hard to believe they’d join Hontai any time soon, any faction would willingly take the brothers for their talent, heart, and just to get back at Bullet Club.
4. Another Bullet Club Civil War

In 2018, the members of Bullet Club were faced with their first internal civil war. After the rising popularity of The Elite, the New Japan members of the faction dubbed themselves “Firing Squad” and had a series of feuds to determine the “true” Bullet Club. Although the context is very different, it seems like a split could be formed in the faction with members choosing between Jay White or Tama Tonga.
It would be interesting to see where the members’ loyalty lies if this storyline goes through. Those like Bad Luck Fale, Taiji Ishimori, Gedo, and Chase Owens have a firm loyalty to the G.O.D members. Yet, the unpredictability of the House of Torture’s decision could be vital in deciding the fate of the faction.
This would be one of the worst possibilities for most New Japan fans as it was a storyline that wasn’t popular. Unfortunately, it might be the only way to resolve the issue in a proper manner without leaving it to simmer for too long. In the end, it will be a battle between Jay and Tama to cement who the true Bullet Club is.
3. Tama Tonga And Tanga Loa Create A New Faction

It almost seems inevitable that a split will occur within Bullet Club with feuds like this. Yet, a new one would be the best rather than follow history and conclude with two separate Bullet Club factions. Rather than dwelling on history, the possibility to start a new legacy shouldn’t be disregarded.
In theory, Jay White should be the one to start fresh as his history with the faction isn’t as deep as Tama Tonga’s. Yet, like the idea of a babyface turn for G.O.D, a new start could be exactly what Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa need. Rather than fit into another faction, they could quickly start a new one and, with the right members, has the potential to take over New Japan.
Although there are a lot of factions in New Japan, in both Japan and America, G.O.D could bring something new. With their years of experience and influence in Bullet Club, it could be the best way to finish the storyline quickly without ruining anyone’s reputation.
2. Bullet Club Disbands

Although Bullet Club started as one of the most dominant factions in the world, their success and popularity have diminished over the years. Through a series of bad bookings, overcrowding and conflicting personalities, the addition of the House of Torture seemed to be the thing to push fans over the edge.
With so many members, there are so many possibilities for each wrestler. Some can turn face and succeed, while others could easily lead their own faction, and some could thrive with a “Lone Wolf” concept. After the rollercoaster journey for Bullet Club, the best outcome could be for Bullet Club to disband and the members to start fresh.
Considering how popular the fact was throughout the years, it seems sad that this could be the best option for the faction. Yet, without G.O.D, the faction is almost unrecognisable. It would be better for all the wrestlers to start clean and start a new legacy, without tainting the faction’s history.
1. The Creation Of A Super Faction

When all of this chaos started, Jay White made his own suggestion that could be the best outcome for this feud. The Switchblade suggested the idea of uniting all the Bullet Club members, past, present, and future, across the companies into one super unit. Considering the legacy of the faction and the possibilities across companies, this would be the best for fans.
The possibilities are endless when looking at all the members that could represent the faction. From junior heavyweights, heavyweights, and tag teams, this option could allow the faction to collect every belt in every company. For years, Bullet Club has had the message of taking over wrestling, which could be the key.
With so much talent across New Japan, Impact and AEW, putting all these wrestlers together would cement Bullet Club as the strongest faction in the whole industry. After years of uncertainty in the faction, this could easily be the best way to create some peace and help achieve what everyone wants: Bullet Club dominance.
