TNA Wrestling stars jumping to WWE is nothing new, especially throughout the two company’s working partnership which began last year.
Cruz Montana, Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace are three notable examples in recent years, but there could be more names following suit in the near future.
Like WWE and AEW, TNA has some talent with contracts set to expire at the end of the year. New terms may very well be agreed between now and the beginning of 2027, but if these names do exit TNA we may see them show up in WWE.
Here are two TNA Wrestling stars to potentially join WWE after the end of their contracts:
Xia Brookside
Recently passing 100 days as TNA Knockouts World Champion, Xia Brookside is enjoying a career-best year in 2026.
The second-generation star has over a decade of in-ring experience and has certainly come into her own since being let go by WWE in 2022.
Having travelled the world and now established herself as a world champion in a top promotion like TNA, it feels like the natural next step is to have another go at WWE.
According to Fightful, Brookside’s TNA deal is reportedly due to run through to the end of 2026, so she may be considering her options as that date approaches.
WWE recently showcased Brookside on the October 6 episode of NXT when she, along with TNA rival Indi Hartwell entered a number one contender’s battle royal for Kelani Jordan’s NXT Women’s Championship. While this likely won’t have anything to do with her future, it has re-introduced the English star to the NXT audience.
With her father Robbie Brookside also working at WWE in a trainer/producer position, perhaps there’s a greater chance of her joining the company than heading elsewhere.
Given her lineage, there may also be a spot available to her in NXT’s BirthRight faction, which is out to recruit more multi-generational names to their ranks.
Leon Slater
Along with Joe Hendry, there has perhaps been no TNA Wrestling star showcased more by WWE during their working partnership than Leon Slater.
Over the past year, “The Youngest in Charge” has been seen on NXT, SmackDown and even WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, where he and Je’Von Evans teamed up to face AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.
That was a particularly notable spot for Slater as it was at that Saturday Night’s Main Event where John Cena wrestled his final WWE match; a truly unprecedented spot for someone not signed to a WWE contract.
Joe Hendry was another name who received a similar spotlight before eventually signing with WWE, with the Scottish star wrestling at the Royal Rumble and even WrestleMania in 2025 before eventually signing with WWE later that year.
While there’s no guarantees Slater will follow suit, his deal is said to be up at the end of this year according to Fightful, and it’s hard to imagine WWE not having interest.
Although a move to WWE is almost certainly in Slater’s future, he is on the verge of potentially becoming the youngest TNA World Champion of all time at this Sunday’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view, so it would be surprising if he didn’t re-sign with the promotion for another year.
