On Wednesday, November 4, All Elite Wrestling will present the return of the Blood and Guts special with a Men’s and Women’s Blood and Guts matches.

Due to election coverage on The CW, WWE NXT will be moving to Wednesday and going head-to-head with this show. The company has announced a stacked lineup that will feature CM Punk challenging Grayson Waller for the NXT Championship.

This should lead to AEW Blood and Guts having a few surprises that will grab the attention of the audience for this special night.

Here are four potential surprises for AEW Blood and Guts head-to-head with WWE NXT.

Swerve Strickland finally convinces “Hangman” Adam Page & Brodido to agree to Texas Death at AEW Full Gear

At AEW WrestleDream 2026, “Hangman” Adam Page and Brodido defeated Swerve Strickland and The New Level in a Two Out of Three Falls Match to win the AEW World Trios Championships.

Since then, Strickland has been in pursuit of a rematch against his rivals with the bout made official for AEW Full Gear, but not the way he wanted it.

Swerve demanded a Texas Death Match for the next pay-per-view, but Page refused not wanting to drag Brodido into his hatred with Strickland.

After Swerve bloodied Bandido to send a message, fans should see “The Most Dangerous Man in AEW” take things even further and somehow convince “Hangman” to agree to his stipulation of choice.

Sisters of Sin cost Thekla the Women’s Blood & Guts

The Women’s Blood and Guts has been made official for this Wednesday’s show.

The bout will see Triangle of Madness, Divine Dominion and Persephone teaming to face Willow Nightingale, Queen Aminata, Wrathlander and The Brawling Birds inside the two-ring steel cage match.

After the heels got the win in the first Women’s Blood and Guts last year, fans could see the babyfaces get their revenge.

While there might be some tension between The Birds and Wrathlander, Sisters of Sin accidentally costing Thekla the win could lead to an intriguing direction for the Triangle of Madness coming out of AEW Blood and Guts 2026.

Kyle Fletcher makes Will Ospreay surrender for his team in Blood & Guts

AEW stars Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher

The Men’s Blood and Guts will feature Will Ospreay teaming with Adam Copeland, Steven Borden, Darby Allin and The Young Bucks against The Don Callis Family.

Ahead of this bout, Kyle Fletcher issued a challenge to Ospreay for the AEW World Title at Full Gear 2026.

To build towards that match, All Elite Wrestling should feature both men in the finish to Blood and Guts.

Fletcher figuring out a way to make Ospreay surrender to give The Don Callis Family the victory here and show his dominance over the AEW World Champion heading into the November 14 PPV.

Steven Borden turns on Darby Allin & joins The Don Callis Family

Following his concussion at AEW All Out 2026, Steven Borden made his return and demanded the Men’s Blood and Guts against The Don Callis Family.

Borden has expressed that he doesn’t trust Don Callis in the same way he trusts Darby Allin heading into this bout.

This could be leading Allin into a false sense of security before he gets betrayed by his protégé.

After their success as partners, Borden could turn on Darby and join The Don Callis Family at AEW Blood and Guts 2026.
