There have been quite a few examples of AEW stars who have gotten a renewed push within the company after getting repackaged.

Whether it be making a change from what they’ve been known as in a previous promotion or a whole new presentation for a character, these repackaged stars have played prominent roles on AEW TV over the company’s history.

From Ricochet to Timeless Toni Storm, repackaging helped these talents become some of the biggest stars in All Elite Wrestling right now.

Here are seven AEW stars to be potentially repackaged.

7. Bryan Keith

AEW star Bryan Keith

Since signing with AEW in 2024, Bryan Keith has seen his character adjusted more than once.

Coming into the company as “The Bounty Hunter,” Keith aligned himself with Chris Jericho and Big Bill in The Learning Tree.

Becoming “The Bad Apple” of the group, Keith played his hard nosed attitude alongside the more aloof and happy-go-lucky Jericho as well as the more stoic Big Bill.

Now reverting back to “The Bounty Hunter,” Keith may be due for a repackaging that could reignite his momentum within AEW.

6. Big Bill

Speaking of Bryan Keith, his tag team partner Big Bill is someone who is no stranger to being repackaged.

Many fans were introduced to Bill as Big Cass during his days in WWE working alongside Enzo Amore.

Going from an established and popular tag team to a singles star, Bill left WWE and would eventually join TNA Wrestling where he became known as W. Morrissey.

Now known as Big Bill in AEW, he could be due for another repackaging following the departure of Chris Jericho that would allow him to find a more significant role within the promotion.

5. Thunder Rosa

Following AEW All In: Texas 2025, Thunder Rosa took some time to recover from some lingering injuries.

Most recently, Rosa has reportedly returned to the road and was backstage at the recent AEW Collision tapings.

The former AEW Women’s World Champion has played the same character for a majority of her time in the company.

Being more than due for some kind of character change, Rosa could return to AEW programming with a repackaging that might see her turn heel for the first time in her time with the promotion.

4. Hikaru Shida

Someone else who has played mostly the same role in AEW since signing with the company is Hikaru Shida.

The former three-time AEW Women’s World Champion has been recognized as the ace of the women’s scene throughout the company’s history and a flagbearer for the women’s scene.

However, fans have not seen Shida on AEW TV in well over a year, which could lead to a major change for her when she returns.

Upon her comeback to the company, Shida might be repackaged into a darker version of herself that shows an edge that could propel her back into the AEW Women’s World Title picture.

3. Kamille

Another AEW star who has been on a lengthy hiatus from television is Kamille.

Signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2024, many fans believed Kamille would continue her dominance that she had during her run with the National Wrestling Alliance that saw her set records as one of the longest reigning NWA World Women’s Champions.

However, Kamille aligned herself with Mercedes Mone and went on to get written off of AEW programming soon thereafter.

Now after more than one year away, it feels like the right time to bring Kamille back into the fold with a repackaged presentation that might see her be able to bolster the women’s division moving forward.

2. Persephone

There have been quite a few names on the AEW roster who earned a contract while being aligned with another company.

Most recently, CMLL’s Persephone also signed a dual contract to work with All Elite Wrestling.

With her scheduled return to CMLL coming up, AEW might give the Mexican star a repackaged look and feel that will differentiate herself from how she is known in her home country.

Persephone getting a new presentation might help her to find solid footing now that she is officially on the AEW roster and see her propelled to a significant role where she can mix it up with the top talent like Kris Statlander or Willow Nightingale.

1. Keith Lee

After more than two years away from AEW TV, it feels like a “now or never” situation for Keith Lee to return to the promotion.

In the summer of 2025, Lee made it clear that he was healthy and ready to make his return to the company.

However, the calendar has now turned to 2026 without any signs of “The Limitless One” making his return to All Elite Wrestling.

Under a repackaged gimmick and character, Lee might be able to find his spot back on AEW programming that could see him fulfill the potential that he has seemed destined for since his days on the indies and WWE NXT.
