The major WWE events just keep coming as next up after Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23, there will be another major show.
With WWE Clash in Italy taking place on May 31, 2026, at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy the next week, the show could be set to host a major match for The Ruler.
Here are 6 potential opponents for Oba Femi at WWE Clash in Italy.
6. Bron Breakker
Both Bron Breakker and Oba Femi are upcoming WWE stars touted to become future World Champions
One exciting showdown between former NXT Champions that the main roster has yet to see is between Oba Femi and Bron Breakker.
After toppling Seth Rollins at WWE Backlash 2026, the showdown between the pair of former allies seems far from over.
However, with a number of events coming up soon in WWE, it could be an easy leap to see Breakker’s rivalry with Rollins to go on pause for now.
Able to elongate the Breakker and Rollins feud into SummerSlam, instead it could be Bron Breakker who steps up to challenge Oba Femi at Clash in Italy.
5. Sheamus
Sheamus has been out of action with an injury he suffered back in November
A potential return that could be a fun surprise in the coming weeks might be Sheamus.
Out of action since November, the Irish former WWE World Champion could be making a major return at Clash in Italy.
Able to thrill the crowd with the return of a veteran fan favorite, Sheamus could test himself against Oba Femi.
With Sheamus still on the hunt for the Intercontinental Championship in order to complete his WWE Grand Slam, hopefully he’ll be back in action soon.
4. Bronson Reed
Bronson Reed is currently out of action after suffering an injury during an Elimination Chamber qualifier on Raw back in February
A potential return that could shake up the WWE Raw men’s division might be that of Bronson Reed.
Out of action after suffering a torn biceps injury in February, Reed recently drew attention when he posted some cryptic clock emojis on Instagram stories.
Potentially signaling a return in the near future, Reed answering an open challenge from Oba Femi could draw The Ruler into the orbit of The Vision.
Potentially setting up future showdowns with the other members, there could be a series of big matches that happen between Femi and the different faction members.
3. LA Knight
LA Knight has not appeared on WWE television since the Raw after WrestleMania, where he teased a potential rivalry with Gunther
Yet to return to screens since WrestleMania 42, perhaps there is a big change in store for LA Knight in the future.
Potentially turning heel at some point to get a new and fresh set of opponents, it could end up being LA Knight who faces off against Femi in Italy.
Capitalizing on the event being set in Italy, perhaps the unexpected nature of the crowd could end up proving to be an ally in the spectacle.
Able to serve as a heel in the context of a feud with Femi but return to his fan favorite status later in the summer, there could be an interesting new chapter ahead for The Megastar.
2. Original El Grande Americano
The Original El Grande Americano will face off against El Grande Americano in a mask vs. mask match at AAA Noche de Los Grandes on May 30
An intriguing choice for a heelish opponent to attempt to halt the momentum of Oba Femi is Original El Grande Americano.
With the Americano now with the full support of his lucha brethren, Julio Credo & Bruto Credo at his side — they could be the perfect opponents for Oba Femi.
Taking on each of the Americanos, there could end up being a fun series of matches for Oba Femi’s open challenge ahead of an inevitable singles bout against El Grande Americano.
A fun filler feud for all involved, the wins and losses would be less important that the overall summer fun.
1. Drew McIntyre
Oba Femi and Drew McIntyre had a run in with each other back at John Cena’s Last Match edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event
In the case of another star who has been out of action since WrestleMania 42, Drew McIntyre could be making a return in the near future.
Able to serve as a veteran presence hell bent on blocking Oba Femi from continuing to rise the ranks in the locker room, it could be interesting to see the two tangle again.
With unfinished business after McIntyre interrupted Oba Femi’s bout against Cody Rhodes at the Saturday Night’s Main Event that hosted John Cena’s last match — the seeds have already been planted.
Potentially kicking off a brand new rivalry with Oba Femi, the duo could end up feuding until SummerSlam.
