The 2026 WWE Hall of Fame is right around the corner with WrestleMania 42 weekend now just over two months away.
While Stephanie McMahon has been announced as the first inductee last September, the rest of the class is still unknown at this point of time.
Looking at some available legends to take part in the ceremony this year, there are quite a few tag teams that could be inducted as part of the class of 2026 in Las Vegas.
Here are six potential new tag team WWE Hall of Fame 2026 inductees.
6. Demolition (Ax & Smash)

In 2025, many longtime fans were surprised to find out that Demolition had signed a WWE Legends deal.
Long in opposition of the company legally, Demolition finally signed with the company that they left an endearing legacy with during the late 1980s.
The three-time WWE Tag Team Champions have long been remembered as one of the glaring omissions from past Hall of Fame classes.
WWE Hall of Fame 2026 feels like the earliest opportunity for the company to honor and celebrate Demolition for everything they accomplished with tag team wrestling during their era.

5. The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton, Stan Lane & Dennis Condrey)

When asking many fans around the world, The Midnight Express are often mentioned as one of the greatest tag teams of all time.
Known for their excellent heel work and cohesiveness as a unit, The Midnight Express are remembered for good reason, taking part in some of the best in-ring matches and moments of the 1980s.
Whether it be the combination of Bobby Eaton and Dennis Condrey or when Stan Lane took over for Condrey later, the duos led by Jim Cornette ran the tag team scene in the NWA and JCW territories for years.
The Midnight Express feel long overdue to be celebrated for their contributions as well as their influence over tag team wrestling to this day with a WWE Hall of Fame induction.

4. The Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff Hardy)

Speaking of The Rockers, one of the most legendary and iconic tag teams of the next generation gained a lot of inspiration from their work and that is The Hardy Boyz.
Coming up in the 1990s and Attitude Era, The Hardys became known for their high risk style in the ring and their undeniable connection with the audiences.
Being pioneers of the TLC stipulation alongside The Dudley Boyz, Edge and Christian, Matt and Jeff Hardy put their names on the map. Now all these years later, they are still going strong and are the current TNA World Tag Team Champions.
Considering TNA Wrestling’s working relationship with the promotion, it would make a ton of sense for The Hardy Boyz to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026 where they can truly be honored as one of the greatest tag teams of all time.
3. Brothers of Destruction (The Undertaker & Kane)

WWE has become accustomed to allowing some of the all time greats to be inducted into the Hall of Fame more than once.
Whether it be for their individual contributions or their achievements in a stable, the likes of Triple H, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels and Booker T can all have a claim to being a two-time Hall of Fame inductee.
Over the past few years, fans have seen Kane inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021, while The Undertaker went in as a headliner in the class of 2022.
The Brothers of Destruction are fondly remembered for not only their fierce rivalry against one another, but their dominance as a tag team that would make them an easy inductee for the WWE Hall of Fame 2026 ceremony.

2. The Outsiders (Scott Hall & Kevin Nash)

Another pair of WWE Hall of Famers who are also two-time inductees are The Outsiders.
Scott Hall entered the WWE Hall of Fame as Razor Ramon, while Kevin Nash went in as Diesel a year later.
Hall and Nash then were inducted as members of the New World Order stable with Hulk Hogan and Sean Waltman in 2020.
The Outsiders were regarded as one of the greatest tag teams in WCW history and multi-time tag team champions who feel worthy of heading into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026 in Las Vegas.

1. The Rockers (Shawn Michaels & Marty Jannetty)

Shawn Michaels entered the WWE Hall of Fame as a headliner the year after his retirement in 2011.
Meanwhile, his longtime tag team partner Marty Jannetty has found himself on the outside looking in on WWE for much of his career after his fall from grace in the 1990s.
Today, Michaels is an executive within WWE and currently runs the NXT brand as Senior Vice President of Talent Development.
With this prominent role in the company, “The Heartbreak Kid” could open the door to get his third induction into the WWE Hall of Fame as one half of The Rockers to honor one of the most influential duos in pro wrestling history this year.
