Four new matches announced for WWE AAA Worlds Collide 2026: CM Punk, Rey Mysterio & El Grande Americano to team up

On Saturday, September 26, WWE and AAA will present this year’s Worlds Collide 2026 premium live event from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

With less than two weeks remaining before the event, WWE has only formally announced one match for the show with La Catalina defending the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against Roxanne Perez.

However, Allstate Arena recently announced a few more bouts for the big PLE at the end of the month.

Here are four new matches that have been announced for the upcoming WWE AAA Worlds Collide 2026 premium live event.

Lucha Bros (Penta & Rey Fenix) vs. Los Perros Del Mal (Berto & Angel)

At AAA Ola de Calor 2026, Penta, Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee defeated Los Perros Del Mal.

Following the bout, Daga, Berto and Angel jumped the babyfaces to stand tall to close the show.

Then at WWE AAA TripleMania 34 Night Two, Los Perros Del Mal once again attacked Fenix alongside his opponents on the show, Nathan Frazer, Jack Cartwheel and Mini Vikingo.

Now looking for revenge, it looks like Penta and Fenix will reunite as The Lucha Bros to take on the top faction in Lucha Libre AAA.

Las Toxicas (Flammer, Lady Maravilla & La Hiedra) vs. Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid)

The women’s division will be on full display at WWE AAA Worlds Collide 2026.

Besides Roxanne Perez challenging La Catalina for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship, Las Toxicas will face Fatal Influence in a trios match.

Heading into the PLE, Las Toxicas have been experiencing some issues with Flammer twice costing La Hiedra in number one contender matches.

After Hiedra was nowhere to be found when Flammer lost the Reina de Reinas Title, it should be interesting to see if Las Toxicas can do against a formidable trio like Fatal Influence, who currently hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team and Women’s US Titles.

Dragon Lee vs. Jack Cartwheel

Dragon Lee is no stranger to the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship picture.

Back in February, Lee went one-on-one with Jack Cartwwheel on AAA on FOX. They were then in the ring together again in a three-way match with Mini Vikingo in July.

While Lee walked away with a win, it was Cartwheel who impressed on this night. Since then, Cartwheel has become one of the premier Cruiserweights in AAA, including his amazing performance in the AAA World Cruiserweight Title 4-Way at TripleMania 34.

Heading into WWE AAA Worlds Collide, Lee vs. Cartwheel has all the potential to be a show-stealer in Chicago.

CM Punk, Rey Mysterio & El Grande Americano vs. The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh) & Omos

WWE AAA Worlds Collide 2026 has been advertised around the presence of CM Punk.

With the event taking place from Chicago, it made a ton of sense for Punk to play a major role on the show.

Meanwhile, El Grande Americano defeated Dominik Mysterio to become the new AAA Mega Champion and Omos was reinstated in AAA with a victory over Rey Mysterio at TripleMania 34.

Playing off these rivalries, Allstate Arena has announced the main event of Worlds Collide will see Punk teaming with Mysterio and Americano to face Omos and The Judgment Day’s “Dirty Dom” and JD McDonagh in a massive trios match.
