At the start of 2025, WWE and TNA Wrestling announced an official partnership to create unprecedented crossover opportunities between the two companies.
Despite this working relationship, there were no TNA stars used during the WWE Royal Rumble 2026 premium live event.
However, the company could feature the TNA talent for their biggest show of the year with WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Here are eight TNA Wrestling stars to potentially appear at WWE WrestleMania 42.
8. Leon Slater
There is no other TNA Wrestling star who has been as active on WWE TV as of late quite like Leon Slater.
“The Youngest In Charge” has been consistently featured on WWE NXT and even got some spotlighted moments on the main roster.
Most recently, Slater answered Carmelo Hayes’ United States Championship Open Challenge on the January 16 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
With WrestleMania 42 on the horizon, Slater should be at the top of the list of TNA talent to be featured on “The Grandest Stage of Them All.”

7. The Elegance Brand (Ash, Heather & M By Elegance)
On the February 3 episode of WWE NXT, The Elegance Brand defeated ZaRuca to retain the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championships.
Over the past year, Ash By Elegance and The Personal Concierge have given makeovers to and recruited Heather Reckless and Maggie Lee to assemble The Elegance Brand on TNA programming.
While they have a big spotlight in TNA Wrestling, the most recent edition of NXT was their first time in a major match on WWE TV.
If the company plans to highlight the women’s tag team scene on the WrestleMania 42 stage, The Elegance Brand could be placed into the mix this April in Las Vegas.

6. The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Cedric Alexander & Bear Bronson)
The most prominent stable in TNA Wrestling today has to be The System. Originally consisting of Moose, Brian Myers, Eddie and Alisha Edwards, the group was formed in 2024 after the company’s rebranding back to TNA.
This led to the faction capturing all the gold in the company, including Moose winning the TNA World Title. Later, JDC would join the group to bolster their ranks even more.
To start 2026, The System has gone through an overhaul with JDC retiring and the stable deciding to recruit new members, while excommunicating Moose from their lineup.
Now consisting of Edwards, Myers, Bear Bronson and Cedric Alexander, WWE could bring in The System to get utilized at “The Show of Shows” at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

5. The Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff Hardy)
When WWE and TNA Wrestling made their official working relationship, The Hardys were among the talents who were first featured in both promotions.
Having the history of being one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history, Matt and Jeff Hardy became double champions, holding both the TNA World and NXT Tag Team Championships.
Being the top draws for TNA, The Hardy Boyz have been one of the most important figures in the revitalization of the company and their recent move to the AMC Network.
The Hardy Boyz being part of a major match at WrestleMania 42 feels like a no-brainer that helps TNA, but also strengthens the WWE tag team division as well.

4. AJ Francis
Since his release from WWE in 2023, AJ Francis has made the jump to TNA Wrestling and established himself as one of the top heels in the promotion.
First with the First Class stable and now standing on his own feet, Francis has solidified his position within TNA Wrestling over the past two years.
The former Top Dolla is someone who has been featured on WWE NXT a few times since this co-promotional partnership began, but he could be highlighted even further.
Having Francis be part of WrestleMania 42 would be extremely significant considering he was never given a spot on the card when he was signed by WWE and will show how his value has increased since making the move to TNA Wrestling.

3. Nic Nemeth
Signing with TNA Wrestling at the start of 2024, there is no question that Nic Nemeth is among the biggest stars the company has to offer.
Back in November 2025, Nemeth made his return as Dolph Ziggler to WWE to take part in the John Cena Last Time Is Now Tournament.
Despite coming up short, Nemeth showcased why he was one of the most reliable and dependable in-ring performers over his nearly 20 year run in WWE.
Nemeth being spotlighted as part of TNA roster at WrestleMania 42 would be notable for both him and his company, while bringing in someone WWE knows they can count on to deliver at “The Showcase of the Immortals.”

2. Mustafa Ali
Back at the WWE NXT ShowDown 2025 event, Mustafa Ali made his in-ring return to the company for the first time since his release in 2023.
Despite losing to Ethan Page in a bout for the NXT North American Championship, Ali impressed everyone with his in-ring prowess and poise in such a big spot.
Since signing with TNA Wrestling, Ali has established himself as one of the main event talents for the promotion in a major way.
While he has plenty of spotlighted moments, Ali could be lined up for a massive opportunity representing TNA at WrestleMania 42 that would put him front and center in a way that he never was during his time with WWE.

1. Mike Santana
One important star who has been consistently featured from TNA Wrestling on WWE television is Mike Santana.
Santana was the one who dethroned Trick Williams for the TNA World Title at the Bound For Glory pay-per-view.
After losing the gold just one month later, Santana would go on to regain the gold from Frankie Kazarian on the January 15 AMC premiere of TNA Thursday Night Impact.
If anyone from the TNA Wrestling roster should be featured at WrestleMania 42, it should be Santana who could follow in the footsteps of Joe Hendry after his surprise appearance at last year’s Mania 41 premium live event.
